Many things had happened through out the year. This year i would say , not a bad year but it is not a great one after all.

I had done many things and some are out of my expectation which I found amazing. I also met new people who taught me many things and open my eyes and help me seeing things differently. This year , I do one thing, to find myself and learn how to be myself.

This year, I really would like to say many many "Enough!". I am not happy with my job though I found satisfaction , but am not happy. If I am the broom, I would like to sweep away my bosses and tell them that they are rubbish.

I would like to say enough to my parents. Enough for the quarrel and arguments. Seriously, enough.

I have to admit that this year, I am mean. I am mean to everyone around me. To be honest, I would rather say, I am a mean person and I choose to be that way this year. I am mean to my friends, I am mean to my family and I am mean to my colleagues. I don't know if what i did is right or wrong and no one has the right to evaluate what I've done is right or wrong because we are the same unless you have the courage to tell me, you've never do it even once.

I choose not to think much when I did or say something as long as I didn't hurt them with intention. I choose to tell them , this is how i do my work and live my life. So be it.

I start not contacting some friends which are close to me for almost a year. I start not talking to my family everyday and work until very late at night. I start going out alone as and when I need the time. People changed. Even friends that I always hang with has changed and I feel I'm in the border of the circle.

I received feedback. They commented me and what I did. I would like to say thank you to them. I really need that. Even though I am not the person who can accept any comments , but I will think and analyze with the situation, what you said, it is right or wrong. One of them told me that I always think that I am right. I would like to admit that here and nothing can change that. It is not easy to change for good but I will not promise that I will change. When people promise that they will change their bad habits and attitude, how many percentages of the population in the world can really do that ? Nevertheless , I will always remember that in my heart to remind myself.

Despite all that , I started to look for Self Improvement. I started to buy many books this year. I want to understand people behavior and myself. However, non of that impress me and then many books left untouched. Still, I visit bookstore so often but I do not know what kind of books I am looking for. I can be there for hours, searching and didn't find any in the end.

I wish that I can find my own path next year. I'm sad to say that , this year, I've been running in a circle. At times, I am still following someone's shadow which I was very reluctant to and hate that I allow myself to follow and feel even frustrated when I was being instruct.

But this year, I've met a few stranger that somehow has become close. I love to hear their thinking which has bring my mind to think even deeper and see things clearer. I would like to thank my lovely colleagues who are always there for me, you know who you are, my lunchmate. I sincerely would like to thank you all. I would like to thank my SS gang. Means a lot. I would like to thank one person, no words can describe how grateful i am with your advices, patience and support. I would like to thank my friends who never care if we ever still meet up but continuous caring and be there for me.

I wish next year, I have the courage to do something that I have been wanting to do. To find and work in a new company.

Lastly, my 2011, isn't really complete but I did found happiness within it. I wish to be more independent next year , see and experience more...

Another Inspiring Book

I've just finished reading another book last week, Same as Different Kind of Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. It's an true story speaking of different perspectives, different life from both author. I personally like this book very much though. It brings you to their life, to feel what they've gone through for the past 20 , 30 years.

What I love about the book is, it leads my mind to think. Think about myself, the people around me, and God. I'm very impress how Ron and Debbie had tried to help the homeless people without getting any in return. It brings life and miracle to them. I can imagine how amazing they are to the homeless people.

I am touched at how Debbie has fought for her life. Many people gave in the middle of the battle even though they are afraid they're life will end soon. Many people also ending their life easily just because of some obstacles they do not want to face. The story of Debbie has spread the words, love your life. It reminds me of my mom who went through the same battle 2 years ago. We've been very positive and giving support whenever she's tired mentally and physically. It takes a lot of courage to face and fight it. I'm very happy that mom has went through it.

It's a very inspiring book which I think whoever interested should read one. :)

The Help

I just finished reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. The book is about the segregation of black and white back in 1960 in South America. It also mentioned some laws implemented for the black to follow. Its a good book overall, learning what's going on in 60s between the black and white, looking through their perspective, how they think about working with the whites and discrimination. This happened 40 years ago and can you imagine it's still happening in some countries. Though people now are more open minded, not particularly about the color but against religion and race. How awful and shameful is that? In other words, we are all just human. We are living in the same world, on the same Mother Earth.

I remember the phrase ".. kindness don't have no boundaries", no lines and the so call lines are just positions. Everyday, we're drawing the lines with people around us, where in fact, there isn't. It's just all in our heads that we think there is. The lines has restrict us from being our true self and leads to ignorance. So true that I have to admit I do it almost everyday. Well, what can I say, norm. I hope to change it, not sure how, but yah... just hope that I can. :)

Happy Chinese New Year ! 2010 !

Hello everyone , Happy Chinese New Year ! How was your Chinese New Year ? How many ang pows you've collected so far?

I was in Ipoh on the First and Second day of CNY. It's pretty hot this Chinese New Year, hotter than last year. I couldn't bear the heat of microwave and have to switch on the air cond during day time. But this year is a bit different compare to previous years. I brought along my camera and requested my cousin brother to bring me for a shooting day on the first day of Chinese New Year.

He brought me to the Kek Lok Cave. Nothing much inside compare to Perak Cave. My cousin brother did not bring me there due to the rock collapsed incident not too long ago.

So, I wandered around and snap a couple of photos while he stayed behind me watching this little sister snapping photos like crazy girl. Thanks my bro because he needs to accompany me under the hot sun and with his injured leg. KAM SIAH !

Then, he brought me to his boss's house and I had a chance to eat a bowl full of Bird Nest and collected ang pows !!!! Hahahahahaha.. Good Good.. :p

I did something few days ago merely to test someone and it was so easy. It turned out to be something I've expected though it's not anything GOOD but I'm happy. I'm happy because I know. It's not easy to become you, yourself in front of people. As long as you feel alright, doesn't really matters what other people think because people who likes you, accepted you and people who doesn't like you, won't mind at all ! Hahahaha.. G-R-E-A-T !

Stray Thoughts

A feeling of guilt swept over me when people is envy over what I've never appreciate of. They wished and hoped they have the same experiences I had. In my heart, a small little voice says, "You'll never want to"

I wonder when they said such things, "How you know its the best?" , "Why do you seem to like it when I think it's not that great afterall?"

People often sees me as I'm ok with everything but in fact, I'm not. Just not. Deep down inside me is still struggling what I want to have and do in my life. I always wish that I can do something. Something different. Something I like. Realities seems to push me harder, failing to reach from the ground.

I just finished my bath. I felt dizzy after long hours of reading the second book. I chuckled because I could not stop reading at all! It is certainly luring because it's written so perfectly well. My parents are complaining. I just bought the third book today, costs me a freaking 50 ringgit. Well, I did not mind though. I'm just halfway through the second book. Hopefully I'll manage to finish it by this weekend, if I have free time. Although I've watched the movie itself but the movie was kind of boring. Book is still better. *wink*

My shoulders feel stiff nowadays. I did not realize that I've been helding up my shoulders until I tried to relax and put it down during my bath just now. It hurts. It has been a week or two since I had it. I guess my muscles must be swollen or something. From time to time, I have remind myself , "Relax, Put it down". I do not remember myself hitting something that had caused the pain. Hopefully, the pain will wash away soon.

Weird

Not myself, I thought. I feel weird of all the things around me very often after I came back from Berlin.

I have a feeling like I've been keeping myself busy, busy enough not to let my mind think.

I've been thinking a lot lately, a lot. My mind flies easily that when I'm driving, out of a sudden, I realized I almost reach my destination, a feeling of just woke up from my dream.

I had this last year and was being warned by my colleagues, it's not healthy and very dangerous especially when I'm driving. They've noticed it because I was frequently quiet and I could not stay with their conversation and my mind often not around. I could not even listen to every single words their saying to each other. My mind is thinking, whatever it is, just wondering.

I think my mind is overpowering what I'm doing. I struggled then. It was then not so bad, though I have it sometimes.

However, after I came back from Berlin, it worsen. My mind keeps thinking non stop. Thinking about my job, future, present, people and it keeps rewinding. It didn't stop until I'm sleeping soundly but I woke up in the middle of the night

I try hard to shove it away. I rarely succeed. It happens very much when I'm not talking. I am not very sure if this is not healthy. I guess I'm just too used of being alone and put my thoughts in my mind. Sigh..

A "Real" dream

I bet a lot of people has some of their dreams are still very alive in their mind. Have you feel or even see your dreams already in real life?

It's just recently that I found out that some of my dreams which I dreamt during my sleep, it happened!

Indeed I do feel weird because it seems so familiar like I've seen it somewhere. Then I remember, it appeared in one my dreams! But of course the dream was long time ago..

I had the same thing happened back in the year of 1993 , during my pre PMR exam where I'm guessing the answer for one of the questions in that paper and I answered wrongly. The same thing appeared in my dream.

I sound ridiculous here. I wonder how many people encounter this before.. I hope I find somebody! :)

A Satisfying Run -The Half Marathon

I just reached Malaysia after 21hours of my flight and transit time. I was hella tired and worn out. Before reaching Singapore for transit, I was on a long hour flight from Frankfurt. I couldn't sleep well as the seats are really small. I was wondering if I am able to complete or even start the Penang Bridge International Marathon. I was about to message my colleague, Mei Lan that I am not going cause I'm too tired.

Seconds later, I dropped the intention and see how things go when I reach Singapore. When I reached Singapore, I felt my body is OK, not tired as before. So, I did not message Mei Lan in the end.

When I reached Penang Airport, I saw my family members are waiting for me and Mei Lan. I was happy and also excited at the same time.

After getting the stuff that I wanted, I went to Mei Lan's house and overnight there because the bridge will close at 1 am.

We slept at 1030pm and then woke up at 1.30 am together. We reached Queensbay Mall around 2am and we met my colleagues in front of Starbucks.

We started to warm up little by little and spread some counter pain on both legs before the race started. I was feeling fresh before the race and I ate the whole Power Bar. I bring along 2 Power Gels together with me in my Nike pouch and my mp3.

For men, race started at 3.30 am and for women 15 minutes later. Guns fired and I started running with slow pace after being hiatus for a week.

It was truly a great experience running on the bridge at 3am in the morning after using the bridge for almost 25 years now.

I stopped at almost every drinking station as I dehydrated fast due to lack of water in Germany.

Took the first Power Gel at point 10km. I started walking at 8km and run alternately. At around 18km, I took the second Power Gel, almost out of energy and my back started giving me warning sign that I am suppose to stop now. My right ankle is giving me pain and I feel that I'm going to have cramps very soon. I only keep telling myself that all pain doesn't matter. All I need to do now is just run and keep on running.

After 2 km, I thought that I will walk until I reach finish line. My thought disappeared once I saw the sign "20KM" which means there is still 1KM left. I run as fast as I can giving it all out for the last 1KM and yes I completed in time and better than I expected!

My official time is 2 hours and 55 minutes! I am happy and proud for the very first time my record is really not bad at all!!

For all my life, I have never think of running a half marathon or even participating in any one of them. Glad that I had one and more to come!!!!!

My Jogging Diary..

I remember 1 and a half years ago, Kong and Papa dragged me along for hiking and sometimes running. They suggested that we should exercise at least one day per week. Yes, it was definitely hard for me. At times, I would turn them down at the very last minute. It's not like I do not like to exercise, I am lazy. Just pretty lazy all the time. Kong and Lim knew me pretty well. Hahahaha. Well, they won't get mad but they will definitely tease me.

Everytime I hike, I will try to follow their pace and I will be the one breathing hard in the end. Needless to say, I am always the last one. Boring huh? Not so when William came along. Hahaha. Sorry William. :) Weeks later, Siew Ping joined us too! How fun was that! There is one person who we had been asking for so many times but never turn up before is Vincent. He always claim that he wont be able to make it. Ahhh.. LOSER!

We hiked for months. Yes, I was still the last one. How cruel. I could never be any faster than Kong or Papa. Their stamina is just so damn good. Before I started to climb, the first thing I would say, "I'll wait you guys here." Hahaha! Yeah, I was lazy and tiring.

Then, we stopped hiking. I could not remember why and for how many months we've stopped climbing Bukit Jambul hill.

We continued to exercise but this time is jogging. We will jog one day per week initally. No one will join us except 3 of us. Indeed very boring. The worst is, I could not run fast. I do not have enough stamina. If I run with fast pace, I will lost my breathe easily and I could not continue anymore. Hence, I always jog slowly. I mean, REAL SLOW. Uncles and aunties just merely walking can win me easily. Just like a piece of cake.

Later on Mei Lan and Siew Ping joined us for jogging. Both of them laugh and ask "Ha mik su lu ah neh ban eh?" Hahaha. I simply answer, "Yes, you can go ahead.. HAHAHA"..
They can jog continuously for 5 rounds but I can simply just stop at 2 rounds. Sigh.. Even though I've jog longer than them, but I did not improve at all.

Kong, mei lan , papa and all of us brain wash Vincent and out of a sudden, HE JOINED us too! Wow. Surprise , surprise! For the very first time, he jogged for 2 rounds, if I'm not mistaken.

Then, our gang add on from time to time. EK , Chee Kee and Chee Ming are few of them. Surprisingly, all can run. Only me and william leaving behind. Sigh..

Suddenly, all of us are interested in jogging. We decided to go for jogging every Tuesday and Thursday. What's more?! We even named ourselves as RunnerMouth and that's how this blog got started. http://runnermouth.blogspot.com. HEHE.. We wrote down every running record but recently, we were just too busy to update.

Kong had suggested that we to go for Kebun Bunga Charity Run. Yes, all of us did. After that, seems like everyone got motivated and then we signed for Penang Bridge Marathon. Initially, I only had the courage to go for fun run, 10KM. However, after this charity run, I changed from fun run to add on another 11km, half marathon. WOW! I am not sure if I can do it but I will definitely put some effort on it.

Thus, every Tuesday and Thursday, I try to push myself harder and further compare to previous weeks. Finding ways on how to maintain my stamina and energy. From 3 rounds, I've increased to 5 rounds and finally, last 2 weeks, I've got through 7 rounds! I , myself was surprised that I could do it! Since then, I tried to maintain my 7 rounds record if possible. From 3 rounds as basic, I had add another 2 more rounds, which means 5 rounds are a must even though I jog alone. :)

I consider it as a big achievement! WOOHOO!! Go go go, and last Tuesday, I've made it to 8 rounds! YES! It was very hard to achieve but I tried to push as far as I can, at least one round more. :)

I am thankful to all of my supportive colleagues. You guys have inspire and motivate me in many ways!! I can never imagine that I can go this far, and yes there are more to come!!!

Stories for Libra babies - The Real Day

26th of Sept is the day! Wee... It was Jen's birthday!! Yes, we are going to Feringghi Garden and we've hid this from her so that she'll be surprised when we reached. :D

We were celebrating Seng's birthday as well. We tried our best to keep it from both of them. However, it was burst at the very last minute due to the RESERVATION confirmation.

Waitress: 5 person? Yeah.

Our expression? - SIEN!

Anyway, happy birthday, hope both of you loved it! Big hugs and big kisses.. Many happy in return and the most important thing is, wish you have the best of everything throughout the years!

Stories for Libra babies - The Shoes

It was 2 hours after I came back from Botanical Garden and I asked mom if she wished to go to Bandar Perda Jusco with me.

That day I was going to find a birthday present fro Jen's birthday! Irregardless men or women, every birthday presents seems hard to find!

Again, mom and I went in every shoe shops and try to not skip any shops if possible. We came to a shop named Opera and we found a really nice pair of shoes, very elegant. Mom has a size 5 feet thus, I requested mom to try on it and it did looks nice.

When we are about to confirmed and buy the shoes, we noticed that the shoes were dirtied with glue. We requested to change the shoes and unfortunately, it was the last pair!

I tried to rubbed off the glue stain and it doesn't work. Mom and I walked out with disappointment. Then, we head to Vincci, which was the last shop. I looked at every shoes carefully if I could really find a pair of nice shoes.

TY: Mommy, what do you think about that shoes.
Mom: Ok loh.
TY: Lai lai try.. Hehehe..

I was so loving the shoes and asked for size 5.

SalesGirl: Opps, sorry. We have only size 7.
TY: Harh! No more size 5 ah? *pout my lips*
SalesGirl: I think Sunway still got size 5.
TY: Sunway ah.. *think think think* Ok loh..

I drove all the way to Sunway and I went to Vincci shop straight away.

TY: Hello, miss, I want that shoe in size 5..
SalesGirl: Oh, size 5 finished already.
TY: Harh! But that lady at Sunway told me that you have size 5 here..
SalesGirl: I'm sorry, we only left size 6..

FINALLY!!!

I was so thrilled and happy.. Hahaha.. That's the end of the day for shoes.. But, it is not the end of her presents...

The following week, Zai and I went to QB to look for something more to add up her presents.. At first we were not sure what to buy, we just walked around and stopped by Forever 21.

We were there fooling around with the stuffs displayed there until we saw a scarf and a pair of ear ring.

I wrapped the scarf around me and keeping asking zai, "Nice or not?, Nice or not?" Haha.. He must be quite irritated with my questions. Hahaha.

The only thing that was confirmed in the end of the chat for jen's birthday is dinner's place - Feringhi Garden. This place is highly recommended by Seng. Haha, wonder if he's paid for it.. :P

Our initial plan was staying overnight at B Suite. However, we've canceled that idea because it may not worth it to spend on hotel. Thus, we decided on spend more on dinner and prezzies. We were trying to hide this pleasant surprise though I've told my lovely dar that it will be no surprise on her birthday.

Mission: Birthday present for Jen and Seng!

Zai and I went to Gurney to look for presents. We were looking for guy's present first , obviously harder to find. Before reaching Gurney, we were stucked in jam for an hour and that mall was crowded with people due to Raya Sales.

We went shops by shops to look for Jacket. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a right one until we saw SUB. We went in and look around, seriously their jackets dam sui and yeng for men. I selected one and definitely was the most YENG after searching at so many shops. Then, I asked Zai to tried it on and he said, "Woah, Yeng loh.. " Hahaha. He fell in love with the jacket., instantly. Unfortunately, it was way too pricey so I decided to go QB for more options but I still cannot forget the jacket until now. :)

After reaching QB, we went shops by shops and we decided that if until end of the day we could not get a better jacket than SUB we will definitely going for that! HEHE!

Seriously, we just couldn't find a better one and we decided to go for SUB again. To my surprise, I could not find the jacket displayed at Gurney which I like. Kinda disappointed and tiring until we found another jacket hanging just in front of us. *wink wink*

Ty: Let's give it a try!

Zai staring at the mirror with a big smile, rubbing his tummy and uttered, "Yeng loh. Wo bi jiao xi huan zhe ge."

Jacket: Mission Accomplished!

Next, "How to make ice cream book". We went Borders and starts searching all types of ice creams book. While reading and flapping the book, both of us went *woahhhh... hao chi loh.. Slurp* (i am sorry to those who were reading nearby because we sounded syok sendiri)

Finally, decided, 500 ice creams and sorbet! Yeah!

Big accomplishment...

Next! Jen's birthday present! We had decided to buy heels for her since she loved it so much, thus, we went every shoe shops in QB. Then we ended up at Vincci, most common shoes you found around every women legs.

Walked one round, "Hmm.. nothing special here.."

Walked second around, "Okay.. found one.. Let's try it out. Oh this looks nice.. Should I buy?"

Zai: Wei! You buying for Jen or for yourself????!!!!

Ty: OMG! Ok ok.. Will look for other.. Let's try another one..

Zai: Ok loh not bad, I dont know. Cannot give comment.

Ty: Grrr.. Take picture, take picture..

Everyday is a happy day

Though many things happened recently , especially my family.. Somehow I feel that it's going to torn apart if my little sister still acts like she used to be and think that she is no wrong at all..

I do not feel afraid if it's really going to happen but I try to maintain whatever it is now to prevent it going to a worsen condition..

Dad still thinks that sister is right after all and did not even say a thing which is kinda disappointed at first and now, I let it go, let it be..

As a daughter of his, I wished and hoped that he will do something to make a different and again, too disappointed to even utter a word when dad is trying to cover sis's mistakes..

Mom is too heart broken by sis's act which had led her to basically try to ignore whatever she is doing now and in the future in order to cure her depression and habit of thinking too much of negative things.. I am always there to listen when you feel you need someone to talk to, mom..

Eldest sis is too stress and pressure by the current situation and wish to live a better life with her husband soon, meaning moving out maybe in a year time.. Mom understood that sis has made her decision and accepted it as it is..

My little sis, if you ever drop by and see this post, I would like to say that you are most useless daughter ever that I ever met..

What did parents gave you today are priceless and yet you are just blaming and complaining whatever you think is such a big problem that we are jeopardizing your life, you can just go bang your head against the wall.. Have you just ever think and think deeply what this family really mean to you? If we do not mean a thing to you, I suggest that you can just move out from this house and let you live alone outside.. You'll see how much we've done and love you. You said mom never appreciate a thing she had, and did you? Do you? You never.. You only treat us like a family when you need something and in your eyes, we are just like your ATM card and we have to treat you like a princess..

My dear sis, Open your eyes big enough and see.. Look around.. Have you notice? Did you notice?

I just need you to use your heart to SEE and THINK..

Despite with all these unhappy things, I am still happy everyday excluded work issues.. Lol. And I found something new.. Running! Haha.. I am really having fun with it. Colleagues, friends and I attended Botanical Garden Charity Run on Sunday (27 Sept 2009) and I used an hour to finish 6km. Well, not a good result but I will definitely do better..

Bought New Balance Lightning Dry (rm69) and Mizuno pants (rm46) on Friday night. I am going to get my new shoes soon as my current shoes are not running shoes and my feet feels pain after the 6km run. :) Very determined. Thanks to my colleagues who keep on encourage me to run every tuesday and thursday after work. Though my results are not that good comparing to their 10-15 rounds per day, but I feel the satisfaction. HEHE..

Emotional Intelligence - 1

I had been for EQ training for 2 days. I learn a lot from this training and it was definitely a great one which is something that I've hoped for. This training had taught me how to manage my own emotion, understand myself, be able to think logically, decision making, do the right thing and understand other people's feeling. It was organized by company which I do really appreciate them for doing this.

However, I do hope that, not because there is a reason behind then only company took this opportunity to work things out.

Trainer had illustrated that our brain is divided into 2 parts which are, Emotion and Logic. Logic is on the left and Emotion is right side. Emotion too, divided into 2 part:- Good, Bad. Logic will triggers an action and will leads you a result.

Right action will leads to good result and your emotion will change from bad to good. But, if wrong action, you'll still feel bad. Then, you have to re-think your actions.

Throughout the training, trainer never mention how to manage the Good feelings but the bad ones. The reason is because, the bad ones that are more critical which will affects our thinking, action and may worsen the situation.

It needs practice and I personally feel that it's quite good. It is totally a new concept of managing my emotions which I've been struggling for sometime. I always think that I am bad at managing my emotions and this is something I will try it out.

Secondly, he said that, we are not supposed to control / suppress our emotions. We ALWAYS have to release it. But, it doesn't mean that you can anyhow express. For example, when you're angry, rank it yourself between 1 to 10. If it's between 8 to 10 it was categorized as serious and need to be managed. Rank between 1 to 3 is consider mild and ask yourself, "Can you let it go?". If not then what you can do to change this emotion from bad to good? The emotions that you are feeling may not only towards others but yourself too.

Lets say, you failed your exam and you're disappointed & angry. These are the bad feelings and is there something you can do about it? Then, what do you need to do?
Clarify with lecturers where you've done wrong , seek advice, do homework, etc. These are all the things that are your actions. If the outcome is good then definitely, your emotion will change from disappointed to happy. That's what it's all about. Managing your emotions.

We also play a few games during this training. After each games, I reviewed myself and I failed in listening, think & act fast and teamwork and these are the major ones. The minor ones are trust and communication. Because I failed teamwork, I sucked in the last 2 games.

I admit that I am very ignorance and only listens to the things that I want to hear. This is very true. I myself noticed that too no matter when I am at work or at home. When it's something that I am not interested, my ears shut down. I think some of my colleagues noticed that too. I found it hard to focus or paying attention on things / topics I am not interested at.

Trainer mentioned that listening is important because if you listen to other , you know where is the person perspective. BUT that does not mean that you need to AGREE. After listening, then you can decide to agree or disagree.

Note for ladies:-

If you want to know your loved one loves you, first ask, "Do you love me?" then see his/her eyes movement. If moving downwards to the right, then it's true. Careful as eyes movement are quick. You may not see it if you missed it! HEHEHE...

The Peaceful Fishing Village , Pulau Aman

I was there on 2nd of August together with my friends, HJ, Dar, HS, Zai. This time, we were not alone, but together with HJ's colleagues. However, we were the "younger" generation and basically we have nothing much to talk about. Yes. Most of them bring along their families and we do not really have any common topic. I was like, "eh?" Another thing is, I don't see Jye has much conversation with his colleague too. LOL. Obvously, there is a GAP!

It reminds me of my trip to Bukit Merah with my colleagues. Though it was a fun trip, however, we were just trying to find a topic to talk. Seriously, they are good at it. Much to learn from them.. :)

Normal routine, Seng and "B ZAI" came to my house to pick me and reached J&J's house. Sounds nice eh dar, J&J.. :) Seems like all the J's somehow get together, Jack and Jo, Jen and Jye.. Wahaha.. Sweet..

We reached Pulau Aman around 11am. We waited for boat to reach and meanwhile, we had photography sessions. Yes, many people thinks that I am just pretending to be professional but I am actually a professional. HAHAHAHA. Sure kena kill.. Ok! Cut the crapz!

To be honest, I would prefer those residents to keep the place a little bit cleaner. I knew it's a fishing village and that's the reason the have to maintain the place because it's somehow so special to me. Perhaps it could be another tourism spot in Penang.. :)

We walked and walked and continue walking.. I think the name of Pulau Aman does really suits this island. Quite surprise to find it so peaceful. They must have been feel so awkward that we've been acting kinda "siao" with camera snapping all the way... I could see questions like "tak pernah tengok meh?" from their expressions. Hahaha.. Another thing is, no car, no motorcycle. :)

Mee udang costs RM6. Well, BIG prawns. Real big! But actually, I don't really take prawns that often. When I looked at the giant prawns, I felt afraid. Afraid to touch the prawns because it's so BIG like a monster. XD

3rd Day, Last Day

Woke up early in the morning for breakfast. The beach was flooded, still I sat there an enjoy the scenery. How relaxing..

Ah Wei is going off early and due to strong waves, boat will slow down and thus need more time to reach jetty. After Ah Wei has gone onto the boat, we walked around the beach trying to kill time. Our departure time is 12noon! There is still 3 hours to go. Really damn bo su chor!

On the day we reached perhentian, we saw a cute baby and we were very fond of him. Guess what, we saw him again! Haha. He is such a cute Eurasian baby!! Surprisingly, his mom speaks Mandarin with him. He was wearing pampers running around the beach. Lovely. I took this opportunity to take photo with him. Astonishing blue eyes! Ahhh..

We even tried to capture some jumping photos. We jumped a lot of times because of Dar! When Seng captured photos, she is always the first one who reached ground. She said she couldn't jump high. Her honey helped her and finally, SUCCESSFUL. Tudia... Kena warm up!

Reached jetty 30 minutes later and we went back to the agency to find out if our bus has reached. Guess what, they did not know! WTH~ One of the lady keep asking us, "What's the bus name?" , "Can you go out and take a look if it's at the terminal?"

Isn't this is your job? Hello, we've paid you money!

Seng went out to take a look but unsure if it's our bus.. He told the lady.

She said, "Ah, yalah yalah.. That's the bus. That's the bus".

She did not even go out to take a look and she is so damn confirmed it's our bus! Shit..

We were on our way back to Penang. I was still searching for the lake that Papa had mentioned. I kept on waking up and take a look if I can see any lake. At first, I thought the lake must be quite small or hidden.

I kept on asking Zai zai and Seng if they see any lake at their side. In the end, I gave up.. I fell asleep..

Seng called me when I was sleeping halfway, "Lake lake!!"

The lake is so extraordinary big. Finally!! Ok now, I can sleep soundly. Haha!!!!

Just heard from boss that I will be working on night shift next weekend. 11pm - 7 am on Sunday and 5pm -12 am on Monday.

I was thinking what to do on Sunday night already and also what to bring.

1. Coffee of course! Can't miss that..

5. Snacks!
6. Poker cards!
7. Toothpaste
8. Toothbrush
9. Skin care products.... lol (macam pigi picnic)

The Second day , Saturday Morning @7.45AM
Jen: Tong Yen!!!! Wake up!! Breakfast time..

Eyes half opened, “Uh.” I went for a quick bath and then join my friends for breakfast. My muscles is pain especially my shoulders.

We had fried bihun + fried mee + fried egg + hot milo. Seng almost wallop the whole fried bihun. We were surprised because normally Seng doesn't eat much. He said, “Zuo mok ni men bu neng chi de. Wo zao shang ke yi chi hen duo de… !”

All of us stared at him and gave him a sweat face.

He was crying for more fried bihun after he finished it all..

After breakfast, camhoring time.

If you noticed, we were all taking pictures with same background scenery. Haha. This means, we are all lazy bumps.

We were preparing for our second snorkeling day. Beach boy asked us to wait near the beach. So we waited. While waiting, we saw a girl was carried to the boat and one of her toes was bleeding. The coral went right through one of her toes. Must be very painful though I did not see her crying out loud. I felt geli when I saw that.

Clock ticking. Boat has yet to arrive after half an hour. I nearly fall asleep. Jen too. The boys decided to play Tai D to kill time.

One of the tourist from Hong Kong get frustrated and he jumped into the sea, swim across to the small dock.

I saw some foreigners canoeing and said without hesitation, “Lets canoe later!” I love to see how foreigners enjoy their life. They just do and play like nobody business.

One of the beach boy sat beside us and waited for the boat to arrive too.

We love his body very much because he has six pack abs and especially Jen would like him to take off his clothes. She wished she has the courage to tell him, PLEASE TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES and scream, “I love you!!”.

Is that right, dar? Hahahaha..

Wei: Hey, macam mana kamu exercise dapat 6 pack abs?

Beach Boy: Minum air lah. Saya tiap tiap hari minum air… Minum air dia boleh kembang..

Wei: Tak payah exercise kah?

Beach Boy: Ada.

Wei: Sini ada gym?

Beach Boy: Sini tak ada lah..

Wei: Bukan itu malam punya exercise kan.??!

Beach Boy.. *laughs* Ini tak boleh beritau perempuan…

FYI, the beach boy is from Thailand. Siam lang ahhhh!! I’m surprised he can speaks Malay fluently.

Boat has arrived!! Woah, FINALLY! Urghh! Hate waiting. Off we go to Pulau Rawa!

We snorkel again. Today , the wave is quite strong. I swim and swim, then looked around, where’s my friends??!

I heard someone calling me from far away, “Ah yen.. where are you??! Tong Yen… Where are you..??? Take up your hand..”

I’ve no energy to swim, some more want me to take up my hand. =.=”

Anyhow, I struggled myself to take up my hand. With my mask on, I can only mumbled, “Mmm.. Hwweeree..”

Penat ni!!

I told Jye that I have no energy to swim anymore. Seng brought me to one of the corals and stood there for a while. Then, I tried to swim back to the shore. Urgghh, PENAT!

I swim , swim and swim. Held up my head and try to assure myself how far I’ve swim.

Eh, how come still so far away, I thought.

Legs kicking harder. Hands pushing out further. Seconds later, I stopped. I am still freaking so far away from the shore!!! It only took 1-2 minutes to reach but how come I am not reaching??

It must be the wave! I can feel the wave is pushing me out further instead. I could hear the splashing water sound from my legs. Urghh! Tiring…

We headed to the boat to feed some fishes. Hell lots of fish here. We enjoyed ourselves with those fishes. Jye went to get sea cucumber for us to see. Jen and I refused to touch because it looks so GELI!

Jye: Lai lah! Come touch! Nothing one! It’s soft! When you message the sea cucumber it will become “HARD” Hahaha.

He shown us and started rubbing the sea cucumber. The sea cucumber really became HARD like a stick. We were all laughing non stop. If you’re thinking something dirty now, you’ll know what we are laughing at.

HEHEHEHE…

We started playing with sea cucumbers. Pity them because we were throwing them all around.

At this time, there is a guy wearing blue shirt and fins kept on swimming around us. Jen and I were wondering what the hell he is doing. We were trying to feed those fishes and yet he jumped and swim around. Apa macam ni? Macam mana tengok ikan lah, bang?! Ish.. But he seems enjoying swimming around. We had no choice but to walk further away from him..

Next snorkeling place, the so called Pulau Susu. What to see? Mm cai.. Hamik pun bo kong.. Tanya baru answer. Sien juga..

Sea water at Pulau Susu is crystal clear. We could see the corals from the boat. Jen and I again skipped this snorkeling part.

Me: Chen Tsi, want to go down or not? We have yet take pictures together leh.

Boat driver snapped, “Ini last one! LAST one!”

Jen and I: Harh?, last one. OK LAH.

So we jumped into the sea just to take some pictures.

But but but, uncle’s skill is having problem. >

PakCik: Saya bagi kamu pandu boat ni..

Me: Huh? Tak mau lah.. Tangkap gambar boleh...

Since PakCik told us it was the last snorkeling place, we thought we were heading back to our chalet. But PakCik stopped in the middle of the sea and said, “Ini last. Boleh main sekejap saja”

We saw a tower with few people jumping down, mostly beach boys. Without hesitation, Seng, Zai zai and Wei jumped into the sea and head to the tower.

I turned to Jen, “Want to go? Quite deep here..”

We asked Jye to drag us to the nearest coral where we can stand and watch people jumping from the tower.

I regretted that I did not have the courage to do so. Wished I’ve done that!

One of the girl (same boat with us) came back from jumping and she told her friend who stood there, “I was so afraid. My legs were trembling! From here you thought it’s low but when you’re up there it’s so high!”-- repeated .. x many times

Once we reached chalet, we bath and have our lunch.

Before lunch time, at Seng and Zai zai’s chalet, I can hear Seng’s laughing. I was wondering what happen in there. So I sneaked in. This is what happened.. They were playing with Zai zai’s Ipod game.. Not sure what game is that. All I knew is, they have to fight samurai I think. Thus they need to swing the Ipod.

When I woke up, I was not aware that it is already 6PM! OMG!

Then I heard someone knocked our door. It’s Jye. So , we went for canoe. I teamed up with Wei, Chen Tsi with her darling Jye and Seng with Zai zai.

If you think canoeing is easy, you’re so wrong. That’s what I thought too. When I was in there, I asked myself, “How to paddle, huh?”

Wei: Lets go to the small dock.

ME: Ok.

Wei: Opps, we’ve crossed the line. Ok now, turn.

*I was paddling the wrong side and it is not turning. I think wei must be thinking what the heck I am doing from behind.*

Wei: Tong Yen, chia jiu, chia jiu.. (paddle right..)

Me: Oh, ok..

Wei: Toh jiu , toh jiu.. (left,left..)

Me: Where is toh jiu??!

Wei: Left.. =.=

Me: Oh, hehe..

That’s my whole canoeing experience. Great one! But I was all wet. That was why Wil refused to join us because he claimed that he does not have enough pants. Seng replied him, “Bu hui shi de!..” (will not get wet one…)

Bath again… and then head for dinner time!!!! Again we had a sumptuous BBQ dinner… Jen loves sambal sauce a lot and kept on eating sambal until the very last drop.

We sat there and chat for a while. What to do after dinner? We played UNO again.. This time we were trying to “pakat” to chain all “Draw 2s” and “Draw 4s” together and let’s see who’s the victim!

Tadaaa.. Mr Ooi Horng Jye the Tua Pui. Wahahahaha! He never thinks that it will be one round back to him after he laid down a Draw 2 card. I forgotten how many cards he needs to draw but hell ya, it was a lot!

It was a cloudy night. Wind is blowing strong and we had a real nice time chilling out at the restaurant and at the same time feel the cool breezing wind..

The Hong Kong tourist , Wicky , together with his agent joined us and out of a sudden, he said that Zai zai looks like RAIN. Yah yah, with his “little” tummy, I would call him, FAT RAIN.

I almost could not remember when was our last trip together. It was 5 years back to Genting, which was a one day trip.

After 5 years, here we are again, 8 of us gathered together for Perhentian trip. My colleague once told me, “How nice to have a bunch of friends to go for a trip even we are all working now.” Totally agree on that. : )

Reached Caltex. We were all waiting for the bus. The bus has reached earlier but bus driver was not around. Wil called bus driver and kononya makan-ing. We waited for the bus driver and finally around 1045pm we get to sit in the bus!

What’s the best of all is the bus is OURS! Totally conquer by us. Hahaha. Damn nice!

Bus just started to move. Not sure what the bus driver is waiting. We asked him roughly what time we’ll reach. He said, “Pukul 6 boleh sampai dah.” HOLA! That’s fast.

Meanwhile, Jye kept on pulling my blanket. Pity him that he has to used towel to cover his cold hairy legs.

WTF! I could not sleep at all! Pak Cik was driving too fast and the bus was very shaky!! I was too afraid to go to sleep. *I looked around* Everyone has fallen asleep. “How do you guys sleep so soundly when the bus is so shaky?”. I even heard snoring voices from Jye and Zai Zai. Sweat!!

I was very very sleepy and tired but I just could not get myself to sleep. I saw Pak Cik cornering and accelerating at the same time. How scary is that.

PakCik finally has stopped at first makan station. *Thank god I am still alive* I felt I just had the worst roller coaster ride. Almost throwing up.

I tried to look for the lake that Papa has mentioned. (Ah pa, the lake is called Temenggor Lake. Hahaha. Everytime you tell me, “Na pian you yi ge lake” but don't know what is it called.) It was a dark night and I was unable to locate or know how it looks like. I was still awake at this time and I think PakCik should enroll himself in some Drift movie. Along the way, I saw him flashing lights, overtake cars that drives slow at winding road. He did not even try to brake or slow down.

PakCik stopped at second makan station. He told us that he will stop for 2 hours or else we’ll reach very early. OF COURSE LAH YOU DRIVE SO FAST!!

Seng and me went to look for something to eat. Unfortunately, I have no appetite at all. Thus, I opt to get a hot drink myself. Well, after years not speaking in Malay, I found myself speaks real sucky Malay. All I think of is coffee. So I asked waitress what kind of coffee they have and they told me all those chap pa lang coffee which I don't know and at last I asked, “Nescafe?”. They replied, “Nescafe! Ada..”

Thank god.

Seng is still wandering around looking at their food and rubbing his stomach at the same time. He kept on asking, “Ai chiak hamik leh?” At last, he ordered fried bee hoon and a cup of Tongkat Ali Cafe.

After he took a sip of coffee, he said, “Aiyo, I feel I want to go pangsai”

I stared at him and laughed. Then, he bought a pack of tissue and said, ‘Give me 5 minutes” and smiling all the way to toilet.

Friday morning @ Perhentian

Reached New Coconut Chalet. We walked around and then decided to jump into the sea straightaway while waiting for lunch and snorkeling time! It feels so nice though it was a sunny day but I enjoyed it!

@ 12 Noon.
Makan makan time! We were served 4 dishes. One big fish, sotong, chicken, soup and fruits! Yummy. Great meal to start with. Jen and Jye said that Redang’s food is not that yummy. Whoops, I always think the food should be nice here. I cannot imagine how bad it is at Redang. HEHEHE.

Later, we went back to room to rest and Jen said she wanted to take a bath. Seconds later, she screamed and say, “Tong Yennnnnnnnnnnnn!! Look at my butt! Two different colors!! So obvious! Kek sim .. I told you all my skin is different… “

HAHAHA.

At jetty, she has already put on sun block all around her and we were all laughing. She claimed that she will turn black easily and yes she is! Even before she goes swimming, she wears double protection!! Tak boleh juga… :S

Others went to sleep. Wei, Jye and I sitting near the beach chatting. Guys will never miss peeping ladies at the beach especially those with sexy bikinis. Wei spotted one lady whom he found quite pretty and claimed that she has big “coconut” , Wei’s favorite of all time.

We get ready with our mask for snorkeling and here we Goooo!! I am not sure of the places that we are about to go because the beach boy neither try to explain nor teach us how to use the mask to breathe. We were on our own especially me as this is my first time after all. Luckily I have no problem using my mouth to breathe. Pretty easy. :p

10-20 minutes later, we’ve reached the destination. In the middle of the sea! OMG~

“Ok, sudah sampai. Boleh turun!”

*Beach boy still did not explain what we’ll see here. Stupid boy.

I can see my legs kicking under water! Ahh.. Indescribable and the sea is so blue! Whoopee!

I wore my mask and let’s see what’s inside. Corals and fishes. Papa told me that I may be get a little anxious as the corals are quite deep.

Swim , swim , swim. Ahh, big corals beside me. U-turn , U-turn! Another one in front.. U-Turn again. Zz.

I thought I should avoid touching corals because I heard Seng said becareful as a big coral in front. I only knew I can step on it the next day. Hahaha, silly me. So, in the end I’m like a stupid fish trying to avoid the corals and keep u-turning on the very first snorkeling day.

15-20 minutes later, I was tired. Not many fish. I was trying to find my friends and they were standing on a big stone. I swim over and grabbed Zai zai to help me. I asked Seng to adjust my life jacket cause Wei said it’s coming out. Scary.

Oh ya, one of the life jacket’s straps designed to be worn between legs. You could never imagine how pain it is when the strap pulling “my little sister”. It’s worst for guys. Haha.

Jen: Tong Yen ah, your down there not pain meh? Mine pain leh. Can I just unbuckle it?!.

Me: Ah, cannot lah. Dangerous! Haha. You gotta bear with it.

Jen: Pain leh.. :(

Suddenly Seng said,” Wa ko ka cham. Bak tiao eh. Move to left also pain. Move to right also pain. Don’t know where should I move the strap to.”

HAHAHAHA.

Then later, we were on the boat to somewhere else. Everytime we have to ask where are we and what we’ll about to see..Zz

I skipped the next 2 snorkeling. Nothing else besides corals and fishes. So Jen and I fed those fishes. We were having fun feeding fishes. Wahaha. Even the beach boy tried to catch fish for us but failed. Those fishes are smart ass!

We’ve completed our first day snorkelling. I quickly bath then sleep. Tiring.

Again makan time! This time we were served with delicious Tom Yam soup! WAHAHAHA!

By the way, I need to thank Zai Zai for helping me to finish my rice. TEEHEEHEE. He claimed that has got fatter because of me. HEHE. Ok lah. FAT OK MAH! Cute! :D

We went for a walk and then to the souvenir shop to get poker card. We plan to play Tai D since there is no night activities at Perhentian.

While playing Tai D, I was being teased for having such a bad strategy ,the so called “Luan luan chut pai”. Yalah yalah. I am bad at it. HEHE. My objective is not to win but is to avoid shuffle cards! HAHAHAHAHA.

I’m such a lazy person. : )

Jen sat beside me playing ipod all by herself because she does not know how to play Tai D. You will laugh if she started to ask about Tai D.

My eyes half closed around 10.30. Then I went to bed together with Chen Tsi. Not long after, I started snoring. Haha. Quite fast huh!

I had been very busy lately. I do not have enough sleep. I do not have enough time to finish my work. Not able to pangsai according to normal schedule. =.=" I am doing 2 projects in the same time , SURE and another SRM - MDM. It's difficult for me because the local project really need time to digest and learn because somehow it's a new system and nobody knows except team members ( only 2 nia ). So , even after it goes live , if I do not understand, I have no one to turn to.

The SURE project, I am supporting JP users with their unicode problem really gives me a very BIG headache. I do not know who to look to and when I contacted the person , I just could not understand what-the-heck he is saying. Sigh.

What's more when everyone is asking status everyday , few times a day. I have to reply to them , in every single mail I have to explain why is it like this and this and that. Urghhh!!

It's one month now, overstress , overloaded and had been working overtime. I have to work from home for days to complete my work but it seems that it's not going to finish so soon!

Even before our local project go live date arrive , lots of requirement pouring in. Lots of things to do after go live.

What's more after SURE go live? *faint* 4 or 5 developments on hand.

I just received a mail from my CC head today to require 5 mandays from me for EBP rollout preparation. HARH?!! 5 days?!

Previously, someone proposed me to take up an extra module because one of my colleague is leaving. LUCKILY , my boss accepted my rejection or else, I will be in Tanjung Rambutan soon!

When I was on the way back to Penang today, suddenly a question came across my mind. "What if the bus skidded and plunge into a ravine? Who would I call? What should I tell them? Do I have enough time? Will I be able to see them again?”

I have several people in my mind but I doubt if I have time to call each of them! Haha. Those questions had led me to my memories years back. It shows how important they are in my life and certainly they had made a change in my life. I’ve even thought of keeping a note with myself whenever I’m travelling. Haha. Silly isn’t it.

Actually, I do not know what to say even if I call them. “Hello, I’m going to die?” LOL. Sounds weird. Must think of something very touching and keep it as a template in my HP and then forward! Ahh, then maybe I have more time! Wahahahaha!

What's the weirdest thing that you've ever heard??

I met one of my old friend 2 weeks ago. I saw him from very far away and he was with his gf. So, I did not go over there and say Hi. I continue to walk around until I bumped into him, face to face. We greeted each other, his gf and then I continued my walk.

Today, he msned me and said, "I will arrange for a gathering, since we did not meet for sometime, else I will get a shock like weeks ago".

I replied immediately, "HUH?! You cannot recognize me? Are you sure?"

Well, that's the weirdest thing that I've ever heard. Haha. I do not know how to describe that feeling when one of my close friends told me that he cannot recognize me.. Haha.. Maybe I've become fatter or uglier.. Or maybe, PRETTIER.. Wahahahha..

I had a gathering with my colleagues few hours ago. I still remember, few years ago, I did say that most probably I will not go out or have a gathering with my colleagues after working hour or during weekends.

I feel weird. Somehow, it's hard to share your thoughts especially topics related to work because you never know what happen when things happened.

When I was invited to go to Bukit Merah trip with them, thought I accepted, I still had second thoughts. Luckily, we did not have much conversation about work during the trip. So I was OK with it.

I think it's good to know them better which does help me relax a bit when I am at work.

Today, we had topics about work. I do still hold back and think what I am about to say. However, we laughed alot tonight.

Good to know, not good to share. :D

Dengue.

Eldest sis was admitted to hospital yesterday morning cause she was infected with dengue. Luckily it was still in early stage. At first doctor said that my sis may need to stay at hospital at least for a week if her recovering is slow in progress. However, I heard from my mom today that her fever is fading away. Tomorrow she is going for a blood test and if her result is ok, then she may discharge on Sunday~~

Doctor said after recovering sis need to really take care of herself. If she infects with dengue again, it may be bad to her health especially her immune system. Thus, doctor advised my sis to wear long pants. :(

Hope she will recover soon! <3!

My 3 Wishes

2 days leave I've took, Friday and Monday. There is no travel plan. I had been struggling if I should submit my application as it would been a waste to stay at home and do nothing which in fact I have lots of undone work.

I submitted at last as my tolerance level has gone down, flat and I could feel the stress on my shoulders everyday. Dragging myself to work is really the worst and the last thing that I want to feel.

At the current situation where I stand, I have no trust on my work. I have no confidence if I'm able to do it. I do admit I'm a mess and I do not know what to do. I do understand that I need to be strong to face all these challenges but things are running in my mind and I could not concentrate in whatever I am doing. I have sleepless nights and it makes me become impatient towards everything. I do feel like scolding all those people who called up and ask me, "Why?".

Why don't you use your brain for a little while and it really does help me alot! I do sometimes want to reply, "Such a simple thing, like clicking a button and you don't know how to do it?! Do you or not understand English? Hover the button and it will tell you what it has! Are you fucking that lazy to even move your mouse?"

Some of them do not even want to think and expect me to do everything for them. I fucking don't have time for that! I am NOT your fucking maid. Don't call me and ask me "Why? Why?! and WHY?!!!!" It just works that way! All I can do is just to fix the way you want to if you don't like it and it takes time. Don't call me up everyday and request for a status and then questioning me why it has to take that long because it's a ONE DAY WORK! I fucking need time to investigate and would you be so kind to grant me 72 hours a day?! If there is fairy to grant me 3 wishes, I should tell her, please shut his mouth up, screw his brain and make him a eunuch! Period.

Mom's Birthday Celebration... @ CRC!

Last Sat, we celebrated mom's birthday at CRC after we've struggling where to eat for one week. As my mom couldn't eat some food especially chicken, so in the end we decided to bring her to chinese restaurant.

Together in a car of 6 ppl headed to Penang at 620pm. Reached around 7pm and coincidentally, there was a wedding dinner on that night and luckily we managed to get ourselves a table. :) Nice!

Why is it so expensive? It's because of this FISH! Our main dish of the day! This fish costs us RM208! Wahaha. This fish is known as "Lam Kor" as in Cantonese. The most expensive fish now if you ever go to wet market you'll know.

Although it's very pricey, the fish is ABSOF*LUTELY dam, do you mind if I spell it out?, D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.! We finished the whole fish within 15 minutes. WAHAHAHAH! I don't mind to go there again and order that fish only! Too bad, our favourite dessert, Almond with Fried Crispy Nian Kao is not available unless we order days earlier.

Today is the last day of 2008. Nothing much really to say about how I spent my time through out the year of 2008. However, I've met really nice people.

I would like to thank all the people who had help me this year especially my colleagues. Haha. I knew sometimes I could be so emotional and I will just ignore everyone. I apologise and thank you for understanding Hehe. Well, one month once mah!

Also I would like to say thanks to my colleagues for celebrating my birthday. I was really happy. Thank you for the cake!

Thank you those who had always lend their ears and listen to my grumbling everyday. It means a lot to me and I really appreciate that.

Besides, thank you Jack and Jojo for visiting me in Pg. I really had a great time and though my plan was not really that wonderful, I hope you don't mind and I am very sorry for not keeping my promise to get my butt down to KL. I know I will one day.

To cheryl, sorry for not being able to accompany you while you're at Pg. Hope you had a wonderful time here.

I'm going for training tomorrow at Axon. Not sure where is it.. so gotta find the exact location tomorrow.. kakaka.. I just got to know that I have to pay for parking. There is no free parking space. Dam it. Not sure if I can claim that or not! =.="

I feel training is so bored. Just sit there and listen the lecturer for almost 8 hours and I am not sure if I can get all in my head later on. Sure forget. Muahahaha. My boss will kill me if I go back and tell him, I dont know. :S

I am not prepare. Not enough I guess. Plus my friend is not around tomorrow. If Axon did not provide lunch then probably I have to makan sendiri.. Then I'll sitting at there pretend to do my work and be busy.

What's more, I could not join my company's Christmas lunch party. The secretary did asked me to go back but I feel it's rather impropriate. I'm there to study and not to have fun. If i turn up during lunch time, lots of words from people's mouth. Trying to avoid that.

I rather go to office and work and work and work.. I almost finish my stuff and I'm very glad! There are some which are still pending for developer. *ahem* Hahahaha!

I just realized I've forgotten to post Jack and Jojo's Penang Trip on the third day.. Thanks Jack and Jojo for stopping by Penang. :) I really want to apologize as I always say I will visit you guys soon but non of them are as promised. Deeply sorry.

Well, we went to had most delicious Mee Sotong next to Fort Cornwallis. *thumps up* Nothing compare to this one, at this moment. :) I heard they have good coconut shake. But too bad, I did not ordered that. On that day, Zu Wil was our driver, thanks to him and Foo Tin for bringing us there. :)

Later, we went to Fort Cornwallis to snap some photos. Then we went to Hainan Town (somewhere near QE2), our last destination.

Someone walked towards my workstation and asked, “Tong Yen, can you give me the document name?” That was our first time conversation, I supposed. He was our company’s ABAPer but no more. He has moved to SG to pursue his career path there. He is no other than the so called Expert Developer Mr Tan Jun Chien.

Ahh, I forgotten this last day’s date. Hmm, anyway, we’ve known each other for almost 2 years now. During office hours, we will sametime each other and the very first thing we will say is, “Sleepy..” or “Sien..” or “Hungry..”

I used to tell him a lot of things especially when I would like to release my anger and I will start to scold “bla, bla, bla..”

Apart from that, he loves KNNCCB a LOT. You can hear it from his mouth starts from the first word of every sentence and the very last word. Eventually, he will add it in the middle of the sentences. Well, he said it quite smooth and seems perfect. Hahaha. I always adore how you said that. Wahahaha.

But do you know that you’ve passed your skill to our very SAP Technical Consultant? Ahh, he has changed A LOT now. Every sentences has at least one or two FUCK-s.

I still remember one of his favorite song is “Xin Bu Liao Qing”. However, he only knows how to sing, “Hui yi guo qu..” and repeatedly sing this phrase until I will sing along and only this phrase. Should join karaoke session with us and listen how I sing! *ahem!* :)

Since you’ve gone to SG, things has changed but I’m very sure the memories we spent together are forever with us. I missed the time where we used to walk over to your workstation before we head for lunch and how you pretend to be busy and need to stop you from pretending. Hahaha.

Not to forget the “Dollar dollar bill ya” song. I knew I’ve made a fool of myself but fun and also your very stupid looking yellow spongebob.

At last, I wish and hope you’ll have a great life in SG and become a very successful KNNCCB-er. Wakakaka.

This morning, I had received a bad news. One of my primary and seconday school has gone forever from this world. She was diagnosed with cancer a year and a half ago. I did not know until today.

I was very shocked indeed. My mind went black for a second and I feel cold and sad whenever I thought about it. We did not contact each other after our we graduated. We did not really talk that much too. However, she was a very hardworking, helpful and kind friend. She was very smart too. I got to know her whereabouts from friendster.

After I've knew that she has gone, memories start pouring and playing in my mind. My friends had went to her house tonight. Until this moment, I am still thinking I should or should not go. I knew I probably will regret or being called as a heartless friend.

However, I am very afraid of the feeling of losing a friend whom I knew for 7 years has gone forever. I am so afraid to see her lying in the coffin and it will be the first time we meet after 7 years, on her funeral.

For 7 years, we did not contact each other neither nor I have ask, my dear friend, how are you? As for today, I would like to say something to her on my blog.

Dear Hwa Chin,

Forgive me for not contacting you after we've graduated. Forgive me for not asking how are you everyday. Forgive me for not wishing you Happy Birthday to you on every 8th of July. Thank you for being a friend of mine. Thank you for teaching me maths when I've reached end of the road. Though you have flown to another place but I'm sure we will again sometime later. Though I'm not be able to see you when you're hiding in your wooden box, I am sure you've done your best and has live your life much better than others could do. I am sure you have no regrets leaving this world.

I saw your facebook and friendster photos today. I am amazed and happy that you're smilling throughout the hardest moment of your life. You've inspired me.

Though we were not that close, I am going to tell you that, you've taken a piece of my heart with you today. I'm glad that it's you and I hope it will stay by your side forever.

Day 2 - Another Eating Day.

Hahaha. That’s Jack! He was snoring whole night. Perhaps, everyone is tired and slept soundly. This remind me of Ipoh trip I went with Calyn, David, Kuang and Foo Tin few months ago. The craziest trip ever. We were there for 2 days 1 night. We were supposed to come back on Sunday which we did at 6 am in the morning! Freaking early! Just imagined we reached hotel on Saturday night, oh no, it was Sunday morning at 2 o’clock in the morning and we have to wake up on 5 o’clock the very next day!!! 5 AM! That was because Kuang need to work on Sunday morning at 8 am! Urghh! I was so freaking tired and the worst is I couldn’t sleep, at all! :(

Anyway, I was suppose to wake up at 730am. However, I could not sleep well, so I woke up before my alarm rings. I took a bath, washed my face and brushed my teeth. When I’m done, I saw Jojo was sitting on the edge of the bed already. Only Jack was still sleeping and snoring. Hahahaha! Pig ler!

Our very first stop on day 2 is, Botanical Garden. Jojo asked me about this place the day before and she was interested. So I brought her. Unfortunately, we reached there quite late already, around 830am and the sun is shining brightly.

Took pictures along and we even stopped by Japan Garden. I did not know there is a waterfall at this Japan Garden. Jack and Jojo were very happy. Jack walked down, quickly and squat like a professional photographer to take the best waterfall pictures ever. Jojo wasn’t going to miss this one out too!

There are a lot of Orchid Garden at Botanical Garden, but unfortunately, all were locked. Next time bah!

At this point of time, our stomach was growling already. Again, we are going to eat! Hohoho! I was supposed to bring them to eat famous Duck Drumstick Mee Sua at Sungai Pinang, in front of Honda Centre. Too bad, they were off on that day. Hmm! Besides mee sua, they have delicious Curry Mee too! *slurp*

Thus, I’ve brought them to Pulau Tikus market. :D Once I reached there, I immediately spotted “Meng Chang Kuay” (don’t know what’s in English). Uncle is selling the Meng Chang Kuay with lots of flavor. He has Original ones, Sweet Corn, Cheese, Tuna, Banana, etc. No photo. :(

Jojo was very interested with Kuay Chiap and Jack with Duck Drumstick Mee Sua. So, I ordered for them and Fried Koay Teow for myself. We had a very delicious yummy breakfast! Jack would like to go back “Da Pian” after having his breakfast. While we were on our way back to B Suite, we stopped by in front of E-Gate to snap some photos of our lovey dovey Penang Bridge.

Next destination is, Khoo Kongsi. I’ve went there just a few days before and this is the second time I go again. Hahs! That day was EXTREMELY hot! I was sweating non stop. Jack and Jojo were busy snapping photos. I was walking around trying to search for new things. Nothing much actually. However, you really must take a look at the design and every art, the building’s architecture. Every little thing they combine makes it so unique. They even have those mini photo crafted with wood. I would say every pieces is astonishing! I myself as a Penangite has not been there until my aunt came from Ipoh and she wanted to have a look at Khoo Kongsi. That was the very first time I stepped in. Admission fees, adult is RM5 and children is RM3.

Loh Bak! That’s where we had our lunch! The loh bak situated just opposite Body Glove at Penang Road. http://www.penangtuapui.com/2008/09/penang-food-kafe-kheng-pin-lobak-chicken-rice-wan-tan-mee/. We’ve ordered 2 plates of LOH BAK! Erm, actually, not all exactly loh bak but mix with others such as Tau Fu, Squid and etc. Jack ordered Char Koay Teow and I ordered Wan Tan Mee. Yum yum!

I called Foo Tin later on if he’s free to come out and take us for a ride to Aquarium. He said OK and while we were waiting for him, we walked around. Then we spotted a group of people queuing up around a nasi kandar stall. Unfortunately, we were too full to queue up and taste the nasi kandar.

20-30 minutes later, Foo Tin has reached together with David. Foo Tin asked, “Lu lang ai chiak hamik? (What do you all want to eat?)” “Harh?!” My eyes stared at him (big and wide). I asked if they had taken their lunch and they have not. “Ok then, lets go”, I said.

David had decided to bring us for laksa initially but changed his plan to Bangkok Lane’s Mee Rebus / Mee Goreng. I did not order Mee Rebus as I’m too full, Jack and Jojo shared one plate and Foo Tin ordered dumplings. The dumplings tastes good. Lots of people were waiting for his mee goring / mee rebus though it’s already 3-4 pm when we reached. His mee goreng / mee rebus was also recommended by “Ah Xian, Astro TV Programme Host” http://blog.axian788.com/?p=283

Since we are going to Aquarium, David mentioned about Sam Poh Foot Print temple at Batu Maung. Haha. I did not even know the existence of this temple and not to say where is it. David brought us there and while we were on our way, I fell asleep, snoring. LOL! Erm.. tired lah! I just realized few days ago that I could fall asleep easily in a car. I did not know that until mom told me about it and I asked, “Oh really?!” Haha.

So here we are at Sam Poh FootPrint. First time here! Nothing much. Just a temple and a fish pond with a beautiful scenery. : )

Our next destination should be Aquarium, however, it was closed. So, we have to go somewhere else and it’s already 5pm then. We parted with Foo Tin and David as Jack would like to have coconut drinks. U-turn and we stopped at somewhere opposite Agilent where we can see Pulau Jerejak clearly. :p

As planned earlier, I brought them to Khuntai for dinner. We did not use bridge this time and instead we took ferry. Hehehe. I’d bet it was a nice experience for Jack and Jojo. We reached there around 8 in the evening and the place has already filled with people. We waited for a few minutes to get for a seat. Khuntai is a Thai restaurant and just located behind my housing area.

We ordered Tom Yam which is my favorite and a must order dish whenever I dine there. I ordered Fried Squid, Pandan Chicken and Jojo ordered Thai Style Curry Chicken and a vegetable. I had a great time enjoying my Tom Yam and well, I guessed Jack was having a hard time as he thinks it was too spicy. Hehe. The Thai Style Curry Chicken doesn’t look delicious if we look at the appearance. Well, you’re absolutely wrong! Surprisingly, it turned out to be delicious. However, it was very oily. Overall, we had a delicious and sumptuous dinner! BURRrpppZzz! We couldn’t even finish a jug of RM14 Umbra Juice. -_-“

Jack and Jojo went back after visited my house for a while. We were very tired and hope to get some rest until the next day. :D

Once upon a time a big monk and a little monk were traveling together. They came to the bank of a river and found the bridge was damaged. They had to wade across the river. The little monk was shocked by the move of the big monk. 'How can big brother carry a lady when we are supposed to avoid all intimacy with females?' thought the little monk. But he kept quiet. The big monk carried the lady across the river and the small monk followed unhappily. When they crossed the river, the big monk let the lady down and they parted ways with her. All along the way for several miles, the little monk was very unhappy with the act of the big monk. He was making up all kinds of acussations about big monk in his head. This got him madder and madder. But he still kept quiet. And the big monk had no inclination to explain his situation. Finally, at a rest point many hours later, the little monk could not stand it any further, he burst out angrily at the big monk. 'How can you claim yourself a devout monk, when you seize the first opportunity to touch a female, especially when she is very pretty? All your teachings to me make you a big hypocrite' The big monk looked surprised and said, 'I had put down the pretty lady at the river bank many hours ago, how come you are still carrying her along?'

Simply because we are not willing to put down or let go of the baggage of the 'pretty lady'. We should let go of the pretty lady immediately after crossing the river, that is after the unpleasant event is over. This will immediately remove all our agonies. There is no need to be further hurt by the unpleasant event after it is over.]

The Day 1

Today is Thursday. The sunlight is too bright and it shines directly on my face which disturbed me. Take a peek at my hand phone’s clock. Oh damn, still so early. Grab my blanket, cover my face and continue sleeping.

After half hour of tossing and turning I push my blanket away, “Urghh! What a day!” Take a look at my big clock which hangs against the wall and start to count, “One, Two, Three, and Three and a half, Jack and Jojo still have 3 and a half hour to reach Penang”

I sat up lazily and wish I can get back to sleep. I stepped out from my bed, brushed my teeth, washed my face and look for breakfast. Dad was outside wiping cars. Mom was blending her everyday fruit juices. Mom gave me a big wide smile while I am still dreaming of my bed.

On the dining table, there were 3-4 packets altogether with different colors. Dad bought us breakfast every weekend knowing we will not wake up so early. Hehe. Oh, I spotted Dry Koay Teow. I ran to dad and asked if he bought that for sis. Dad says I can have it. : ) Yum yum! I made myself a cup of hot coffee from Old Town (3 in 1 of course. My colleagues knew how bad I am in making coffee. Tastes real suck) and enjoy my very own dry koay teow on Thursday morning. *wink wink wink*

An hour later, drop Foo Tin a message and starts to pack my stuff. Just in case if I’m lazy to go home late at night. After an hour, (I knew it’s long! Hah!) I took a bath and check my handphone if Jojo send me a SMS. Oh she did. She said she has reached! That’s freaking early! Quickly dressed up and called Foo Tin.

I passed my drafted plan to him and he laughs. “Woah, ah neh cheh ah! (Wow, so many places!)”. Haha. I’m not quite sure the direction or how to go to some places which I’ve listed. However, it’s definitely fun and nice to explore if we have time. : )

Jack and Jojo have found such a nice hotel at Penang which is B Suite. I’ve by pass this hotel so many times when I was on my way home but I do not know this hotel offers such a cheap, clean and big room. Jojo said Cheryl has recommended her. Ahh, I myself as a Penangite is definitely amaze and surprise with what they have here. Even though there is no breakfast provided, but I’m very sure you can get nice and delicious food in Penang very easily!

Since Jack and Jojo have not taken their breakfast except for their cheesy cheese McD before their journey, so I bring them to the nearest place to have their lunch. It’s the place where Vincent treated us Bak Kut Teh. Foo Tin said that the kopitiam’s Koay Teow Thng not bad. We ordered and it’s definitely not bad. You can even asked to add an egg if you want to. But I would highly recommend Koay Teow Thng at Kedai Kopi Xin Feng, Taman Inderawasih. Big bowl and delicious. The ah pek selling Yong Tai Fu is actually from Ipoh. Ipoh lang ah! Ah Yau, you should come here if you miss Yong Tau Fu! Hehe. Curry mee and Hokkien mee not bad too. You can add Pork Ribs for Hokkien Mee. Just say it! : ) Hungry bui?! Hahaha.

After finishing my bowl of Koay Teow Thng, I looked around and I saw familiar faces. Ah, the uncle who sells delicious roti at Sungai Pinang (the place where it’s famous for Duck Drumstick Mee Sua, in front of Honda centre). I was so excited and I quickly ask Jack and Jojo if they were interested to try uncle’s roti. I walked over and chat with uncle a little while and ordered 3 different flavors of roti. I ordered a “Sambal Small Prawn” (What’s “Heh Bi” in English anyway? *cracks head*), Tuna fish and Cheese. Urghh! I’m freaking hungry while writing this entry!

Unfortunately, we’ve forgotten to take pictures of it, totally. Well, next time dude!

We chatted for a while (but my mind is thinking where’s our next stop) and we decided to bring them for Ai Yu Ping. Before we even reach the stall, I saw lots of people stood by the road side enjoying their Ai Yu Ping, very much. It was recommended at Penang Tua Pui’s blog (haha, again) and this is the very first time I tried it. I believe that Ai Yu Ping’s honey is made of real honey as I saw bees were buzzing around and they did freak us out. Next to Ai Yu Ping’s stall there is another Laksa stall. Jack has ordered a bowl as I’m stuffed, I rejected to have one. He thinks it tastes alright.

This time, we did not forget to take pictures. Lean Ai called me to ask for the Ai Yu Ping’s location after I’ve uploaded pictures at Friendster and Facebook. : ) I guess with Jack’s Nikon D80, everything captured looks captivating.

It’s almost 3.30pm now and our first day did not end just like that! Of course, I give their stomach (and mine too!) to have time for digestion. Jack suggested going to Feringgi Beach. Alright! We reached there safe and sound. *ahem*

As usual, lots of foreigner but this time, MORE. If you look at the pictures, the beach is crowded. I think most of them are factory workers and as they were given a long break due to Raya, therefore they came over for holidays.

I was playing with Jack’s camera happily. Oh, I love to take photos and I plan to get myself one and hopefully I will get one before sis wedding. I was talking to Jack and Yoon at the same time and with so little knowledge, I end up confusing myself. Crap.

We tried to walk along the beach and as it’s too crowded, we sat down and enjoy the beach. It was quite hot on that day, but lucky though or else we’ll be soaked.

Around an hour later, Jack mentioned that they missed out Gurney hawker stalls’ food when they were here Last year (just to remind myself because I keep on thinking this year!). My stomach already started to growl when Jack mentioned Gurney as my mind imagining hot, spicy, crispy FRIED SOTONG!

The very first question I asked Jack and Jo when we reached there was, “Ngoi mm ngoi sek FRIED SOTONG?!!! Hou hou sek geh. Ngor hui ngai! (Do you want eat FRIED SOTONG?! It’s very delicious. I order!” I jumped excitingly.

Jack and Jojo ordered Fried Oyster and I ordered extra Sotong Bakar from another stall (I guess it was not that yummy. Too hard).

A lenglui aunty walks toward to our table and asked what drinks we would like to order. I said, “Umbra Sum Bui” Jack stared at me with a very confuse expression, “Meh lei geh?! Meh yeh UMBRA?!”

I wished he never ask. To be honest, I do not know what UMBRA in English, Malay, and Cantonese is called. I only knew its called UMBRA. I tried my very best to answer his question. Foo Tin was there too. I immediately pass this question over to Foo Tin.

Foo Tin says, “Green green one ah. Small small one ah. Inside has seed one ah. Around the seed bulu bulu one”

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

So, today I googled and I found it at WIKIPEDIA. Jack, this is for you! : ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambarella. Now I knew, in Sri Lanka, it’s known as AMBARELLA (sounds like umbrella). I wonder who changed it and become UMBRA. I supposed must be uncle aunties back then who could not pronounce English in proper and shorten it to UMBRA or sometimes UMBLA.

Aunty: “Lai, lu ai hamik chui. Wa lang chit peng wu umbla..” and there it goes the famous UMBRA juice.

Foo Tin needs to get home early that day, so we dropped him at Jetty and we went back to B Suite for a hot nice bath before our REAL dinner.

Our next destination for dinner is Summer Garden! Initially, I would like to bring them to Annabelle’s Café. However, I was unable to find the exact location. After a few turning, we gave up and we decided to go Summer Garden instead. I was longing to go since I received numerous emails about this place months ago. Finally, I had an opportunity to taste their dishes.

The environment looks fine and great to me. Unfortunately, their food turns out to be so-so only and it’s quite expensive. I guess I will not dine there anymore unless for a cup of Jasmine Tea. Jojo and I ordered the same drink which is Jasmine Tea. We both find the Jasmine is so fragrant and it comes with a small cup of honey. Below are the pictures.

The last destination of day 1 is Gurney Drive. Our stomach is full and there is no more places to go we went to Gurney Drive for a walk. There were lots of people over there chatting, dating, walking, and etc.

Freaking tired after the walk, then we went back to B Suite and Jack started snoring a few hours later.

The Shocking News and Preparation..

Jack and Jojo are coming to Penang again.

Jo: "Yen yen, I have good news for you. We are going to Penang during Raya holidays!"
Yen: "*Shocked*. Wow! Okay. With Jack's parents?"
Jo: "Nope. Maybe Ryl will tag along"
Yen: "Ahh great!"

To be honest, I always have difficulties communicating with elders. I act so weird in front of them and I really wonder why. I realized the most I can only ask up to 4 questions.

1. How are you?
2. Haven you taken your breakfast / lunch / dinner ?
3. What are you doing now?

... *silence* ...

The only one I can talk with is my mom. I have a hard time with my dad as well. We couldn't really communicate that well.

I am trying so hard that at times I really have crack my head for more questions or sometimes even asked same question twice. Then I will answer myself, "Oh, I've asked you before"

*laughs* (which is so cold)

Alright. Back to the story. It was on Monday or Tuesday when Jo informed me about their plans. I was shock as it was truly a short notice. Lucky enough I am free during Raya holidays. I had been asking my colleagues and friends about their plans for Raya holidays. Sitting at home rotting for 5 days can be so dead. So, thanks Jack and Jojo for saving me from rotting. (or else I am a pure Tung Gu Yen (mushroom Yen)).

Later then, I started to plan where to bring Jack and Jojo when they arrive Penang. My head went big and bigger each day thinking about it. Jack and Jojo came to Penang last year (Thanks Jojo for reminding me as I've totally forgotten because I thought they came this year. Oh God, am I diagnose with Dementia? I am having memory loss and I can forget something so fast even in a few minutes ago! Err.. minutes consider fast too right? )

After some searching, I decided to bring them around Penang for makan makan trip. Hehe. I began to surf food blogs, basically more to Lingzie, Penang Tua Pui and What2see. Penang Tua Pui has the most detail location ever that I can find in any other blogs. Thanks to you! I was having a fun time searching for good food which makes my saliva drop a few times. Haha.

I list it down, every places I known and direction to get there (just in case I forgot) Hehe. Couldn't find the paper which I've drafted. I guess I must have thrown it away. -_-
